Good posture is a great way to maintain your body's natural mechanics. Attempt to assume and maintain good posture throughout the day. Treat this as an ongoing meditation on spatial body awareness.

  • Plant feet shoulder width apart
  • Feet pointed straight out, in front of you
  • "Screw your feet into the floor" by applying gentle rotating pressure (see pic below)

  • Squeeze your glutes gently
  • Squeeze your abdominal muscles gently
  • Raise your head to look straight ahead
  • Rotate straight arms so that palms face forward and shoulders are properly engaged (see pic below)

  • Relax arms but keep shoulders engaged

That's it! You should be comfortable but slightly activated and engaged!
