030 Sounds Meditation

Try this: 

This meditation can be done with or without a timer.  Just sit comfortably, close your eyes and focus your attention on whatever sounds are heard.  Pay attention to the beginning, middle and end of each sound.  Notice that these sounds cannot help but be heard, and when they leave, they are gone.  

What similarities can you identify between sounds and thoughts?
